🤔 Fun fact: This album was released posthumously in 1981, just months after Evans' death. The session, originally recorded in 1977, is deeply marked by tragedy: it includes pieces dedicated to his partner, Ellaine, and his brother, Harry, both of whom had taken their own lives shortly before the recordings. Evans poured all his grief into the keys, turning this record into his purest emotional testament. Did you know? 🤯
