His executive order looks beyond single missions and toward lasting capability: a sustained American presence on the Moon, nuclear power and propulsion systems, groundbreaking scientific discoveries, and a thriving orbital economy that can serve as a force multiplier for NASA. That clarity of direction matters, and it gives NASA and its partners a strong foundation to execute on these bold objectives.
