Trump Tariffs Explained: Trump is charging 10% tariffs on UK goods. He's charging 20% tariffs on EU goods. In November it was estimated that 20% tariffs would cost UK 0.8% GDP. So let's say this means today's tariffs will cost us 0.4%. So Brexit saved us 0.4% GDP in US trade, but cost us 4% GDP in EU trade. So anyone calling Trump tariffs a "Brexit Success" CAN'T FUCKING COUNT!

The trade deal will include 0% tariffs, the EU buying $750B of US energy, and reduced automotive tariffs to 15% with an understanding that the EU will purchase more US vehicles. EU President: “Since the US had a deficit and the EU had a surplus, the goal of this deal was to bring a balance while facilitating healthy trade relations on both sides of the Atlantic.” Japan done, EU done, China closer to getting done with another 90 day tariff pause… If we can get Canada, Mexico, Australia & South Korea soon… So bullish 🚀
