Frank Sinatra released the definitive and most famous version in 1964 on the album It Might as Well Be Swing, arranged by Quincy Jones and the Count Basie Orchestra. This recording became a anthem for NASA: it played during the Apollo 10 (which orbited the Moon) and Apollo 11 (first landing on the Moon in 1969), being one of the first songs heard in outer space. Sinatra was so proud that, at shows after that, he always dedicated the track to astronauts.
