Ashamed that my country is represented in EU by @MariaWalshEU . She naively assumes “hate speech” will not politicise the criminal justice system. She seems to be ok with the EU Commission being the arbitrators of truth & falsehood online.

It’s speech they hate

Maria Walsh saying the quiet bit out loud. The Hate Offences bill is specifically about Hate Speech. I've got some news for you Maria. We already have hate speech legislation which is perfectly adequate for dealing with the events in Dublin. Also, hate can already be considered as an aggravating factor when it comes to sentencing. But you already knew that, you're just being dishonest and spreading disinformation.

The only hate the Irish are genuinely seeing is the hate coming from our corrupt crooks in suits that are supposed to care about the Irish people Our politicians like yourself show nothing but contempt towards our people Why not tell them how our politicians have left 14000 Irish people homeless almost 4000 of them children while housing the world Or why not tell them about the Irish families struggling to put food on the table as our politicians give everything away to everyone but the Irish Our disabled can’t even get medical cards while ye give them no problem to anyone else entering our country All politicians who push for these hate laws are nothing but traitors to our people And our nation is awake to what ye are doing
