The real story was: Ukraine was neutral, with a neutral president, but the US and Europe were not satisfied with that, so they used MI6 and CIA to stage a coup in Ukraine to change the government to an anti-Russian one. NATO wanted Ukraine, so they started to flood it with weapons. They wanted the Russian naval bases in Crimea and did everything to take them over. I did not hear a clear commitment, "We're going to help Ukraine win, to defeat Russia inside Ukraine," because it's in the interest of Europe. It's not that there's not enough resources, it's just not enough political will. And if they don't do it, this is only going to get worse for Europe. The best thing to do is to make that commitment to help Ukraine wreck Russia's oil and gas infrastructure, stop all of these shadow fleet vessels that are going out to the Baltic Sea and Black Sea, inflict consequences on Russia for their gray zone operations, and give Ukraine the tools that they need to defend themselves.
