You are educating the world on Canadian and other countries trade, politics etc. I love that you are putting the message out there and explaining in terminology for everyone to understand the situation. Not all Americans support DT and hope we can be considered friends again.

Thank you for explaining that so well! My son turns 18 before the Alberta referendum & he received his mail in ballot yesterday. I’ve told him to do his due diligence as we don’t want to influence his thought process. Have you done series on the pros/cons on those questions?

Good for Canada and the EU😘 In his first term, when “America First” was the entire platform, not self enrichment and self aggrandizement, they ALL wanted to cut ties with 🌎 and become an isolationist country Well done Donnie, we’re being eradicated like a cancer Yay us🇺🇸

Great explainer! Carney is doing this very well. Project 2025 seeks to reshape countries outside America to mirror christofascist values. We see Smith & Ford continuing the work of “Harper’s Canada”. CPC would have submitted to Republicans. #CdnPoli #ElbowsUp

This is an amazing explanation. Opinions included but not to overshadow or outweigh a fair and unbiased presentation of facts. Share this with all your friends.

You should read more matey The leadership of the EU isn't democratically elected by the people. They are appointed. The EU commission isn't elected by the people. They have 7 appointed presidents: These are the main appointed leadership (“presidency”) roles within the Commission. The President assigns portfolios, and the entire College of 27 Commissioners (one from each Member State) is appointed collectively after nomination by Member States, hearings in the European Parliament, and formal appointment by the European Council. Current structure (as of September 2026) President Ursula von der Leyen (Germany) Executive Vice-Presidents and High Representative Teresa Ribera — Clean, Just and Competitive Transition Henna Virkkunen — Tech Sovereignty, Security and Democracy Stéphane Séjourné — Prosperity and Industrial Strategy Kaja Kallas — High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy (also Vice-President) Vice-Presidents Roxana Mînzatu — Social Rights and Skills, Quality Jobs and Preparedness Raffaele Fitto — Cohesion and Reforms (Note: Official Commission materials group the above six under “Executive Vice-Presidents and High Representative / Vice-Presidents.” Some external sources refer to all six as Executive Vice-Presidents.) commission.europa The remaining members are ordinary Commissioners with specific portfolios (for example Trade and Economic Security, Economy and Productivity, Defence and Space, Climate, etc.). Decisions are taken collegially by the full College of 27. This structure reflects the organisation decided by President von der Leyen for the current mandate. The official and up-to-date list is maintained on the European Commission’s College of Commissioners page.

The common currency has one draw back, not every nation gets to borrow money equally. Germany pays less than let say Greece. That issue needs to be resolved.Otherwise best system and hope that a continent that was at war for millennia can have peace

It’s funny that we lose even more sovereignty joining the EU and way less economic if any at all, and yall celebrate this. It’s really insane to think that how badly you people would screw Canada just because you hate Trump. Seeek mental help

Go…this is why we don’t fucking want you leaches. Ya all sounds great, except bothe the EU and Canada are both primary exporters…you already trade just fine and this will leave you with unelected, out of touch Eurocrats setting rules for you. You people are fucked

When can I be Canadian? Always wanted to as a kid. I grew up near Lake Erie and I like snow. I’m old now but self sufficient and relatively healthy plus I probably won’t be around long enough to be a burden.

Please visit UK and help us explain to our BREXITeers when (not if) we apply too following your lead… as probably never have politicians brave enough to reapply for full membership (assuming EU didn’t just replay recordings of De Gaulle’s “Non”

Tying Canada to the EU means importing their economic stagnation. EU compliance costs businesses ~$176B/yr while they import over 58% of their energy. They need our raw resources, we don't need their bureaucracy.

andrew roca 的头像

So you name all the positive about joining the EU, but nothing about what we are give up. Why don’t you wait until the full details of the membership requirements before jumping. And those elbows came down fast when talk about our sovereignty. Now we don’t have it over some memes

Canada is not Canada anymore. It’s a generic multicultural piece of land with grey boxes of Walmarts, McDonald’s, a&w and gas stations owned by Indians

If Canada becomes a associate member of the European Union do you really they won’t force Canada to follow their laws and rules just to be a member
