Eva just before Jeff Probst cried: “Please let’s take a step away from the game and understand that this is what I deal with with my autism, and everyone who has autism should not be ashamed to ask for help and ashamed to receive it” #Survivor #Survivor48

I interviewed #Survivor’s Eva about her episode, Joe being her “superhero” and Jeff Probst’s reaction: “[Seeing Jeff cry] was the moment when it hit me, that this is a moment that is going to be remembered.” #Survivor48

It was the most raw and real “reality” tv scene I have ever seen

My daughter is autistic and is cheering for Eva. She gets embarrassed about needing help sometimes. What a great example Eva is setting for kids.

Most memorable, most emotional, most real moment in #Survivor history as far as I’m concerned. And I’ve been watching since the finale of Season 1. Also, first time I can remember Jeff (almost) losing it. #Survivor48
