Evan Call is easily in greatest of all time conversations, everything he composes brings tears to my eyes

People might not realize but this anime would not hit as hard if it wasn't for the magnificent work of Evan Call. All these scenes are that much more powerful due to his fantastic music.

Easily one of the greatest composers, His work on Violet Evergarden was also beautiful.

Least romantic Himmel gesture

touché. you might as well check Violet Evergarden. It is set in a Victorian-era style with a touch of World War. The visuals are stunningly done by KyotoAni and Evan Call made the music score to rope you in every episode.

I love violet evergarden, one of the best anime ever made

Evan Call and Kevin Penkin have ruled since Sawano fell off

I'm gonna act like I didn't read the last bit

Look me in the eyes and tell me 2022-25 Sawano is the same as 2013-2019

Just because his peakest works were in that time doesn't mean he fell off lol, his recent kingdom and SL osts are great

The SL OST is genuinely the most mediocre Sawano work ever

Loved his score for the anime Schwarzesmarken!

fucking EXACTLY. He is legitimately one of the most talented artists I've ever consumed the work of. The music in Frieren is literally perfect.

💍

The music he made for frieren was so beautiful and didn’t feel like a generic anime fantasy soundtrack. It felt real and connected to the story!!

Real

His work on Violet Evergarden is unparalleled

"One Last Adventure" playing made me sob so much. The music of this show captured my heart the very first episode.

He also did the violet evergarden ost which is so so so good

PEAK

He is truly one of the best anime composers of all time, my personal favourite is Across The Violet Sky, its an ost from Violet Evergarden, you must check it out if you love his works

he's the goat

Best scene in Frieren

Evan Call's work does so much for the anime its just fantastic. I can't even imagine the anime without that OST.

i’ve been kinda wanting to watch frieren and i knew that people shipped them and they had romantic scenes but i never knew things were this romantic between her and himmel omg

Reminds me heavily of Violet Evergarden

Literally the only complete soundtrack I own

It’s good. Masayoshi Soken is my GOAT though

Did they change the production house for season 2? It seems like the animation and illustration for the eps this new season has declined and lessen on details.

I have yet to start season 2 but as far as I'm aware only the director and character designers changed

His music is so magical it’s unbelievable

They basically married in Himmel's head 😂

He fucked up the muv luv ost even tho the Vn had an insane ost he could have pulled from. Generational fumble
