They were the days. For a big guy, Bowe was an excellent fighter on the inside. One of the most fantastic displays of heart and survival instinct from Holyfield in that round.

Even though Holyfield took the L, his heart in this fight was incredible. He also had one of the best chins in boxing.

@Kil787 Bowe a flat track bully IMO (like Liston) - only ever agreeing to fight Evander cause he figured Holyfield would be too small. That said, Evander was juiced to the eyeballs - so I don't give the career-PEDS cheat much kudos either. Thank God Lennox restored dignity at HW.
