2026.08.22 🗓️ Three days… two precious reunions 🥹 Day before yesterday it was Papa Kosuke Shikano, and today Papa Shumpei Miyakoshi gave Punch a ride 😭❤️ After almost a whole month of separation, Punch still didn’t forget either of his caretakers… maybe the zoo is slowly returning to the old plan? 🤞 Thank you so much for these happy moments, Ichikawa Zoo 🙏 The day is coming very close when we won’t be able to see Punch from September… 😭😭

Punch was peacefully sleeping in his little corner when a brave baby monkey wandered over to say hello. 🥺❤️ Punch didn't even touch the baby, but suddenly the baby's mom rushed in and whisked him little one away! 😭 Poor Punch looked completely shocked and heartbroken. He let out a sad scream, ran up the hill, and sat all alone like a tiny soul carrying the weight of the world. 💔😭. Punch was enjoying some snacks he picked up from the ground when a little baby came over. 🥹🐒 Punch looked so relieved and seemed like he had really been wanting to cuddle a baby. He gently pulled the baby close and cuddled it affectionately. 🥹❤️ Just then, one baby mom arrived. Punch immediately lay down and looked nervous, as if he was afraid she might scold him. 🥺 But to his surprise, the mother didn't mind at all. Yesterday, just before the zoo closed and Monkey Mountain’s curtain came down for almost three weeks… around 4:30 PM, Punch climbed up and sat in that one spot where he could be seen so clearly from the back row. Everyone was recording him. It felt like he knew we wouldn’t be seeing him for a while and wanted to give everyone one last look.
