The lore clearly says a regular human can only bend one element, and the Avatar is the exception because of Raava. Without Raava the avatar will only have the element she was born with.

Korra LOOKS so sad here. Sounds silly, but it genuinely breaks my heart. I've said it before and I'll say it again - She deserves better. Nobody seems to get the fact that Korra tried her best as the avatar. She tried so hard even though people hated her. I'm proud of her 💙
