Aaron Boone was asked if he considered starting Jose Caballero at shortstop tonight and what he's made of Anthony Volpe's at-bats recently: "I felt like Volp went through a tough stretch there for a few weeks, a month. Feel like on the road trip, started to swing the bat well again, several in a row, and then has had a few games here where he's struggled. Offensively, just finding that consistency has been the challenge for him. It is something I considered, but also believe and hope that his best days are here for us down the stretch and hopefully on into October. We saw that last year from him, how good he was for us in October, so we know he's capable. We've got to help him get there and just find more consistency. That's been a challenge."

🚨 BREAKING: Trump just went to bat for Elon Musk outside the White House while examining the Teslas. So true. TRUMP: I ended the EV mandate. He never even complained to me. Who would do that? Elon Musk has never asked me for a thing. He's built a great company and he SHOULDN'T be penalized. He's a patriot. I don't even know if he's a Republican.

“If you touch me, I will slap you, and you will never forget it. I have more than enough, and I can give you more than $1. Even if I see $20 on the floor, I won’t take it.” — A Ghanaian man in the United States tells a prankster after getting upset when the prankster said he saw him pick up $1 from the floor.

"I like how [Belal Muhammad] acts as if he has a choice to ever go up to 185. The UFC will never let him... The UFC doesn't even like Belal Muhammad. So what makes him think that? He hasn't even defended his belt once. He's definitely better on Twitter than he is in fights. [A fight with Belal] would be unfair. Have you seen the size of the man? He's the smallest... I couldn't believe that he's a 170 when I saw him." Dricus Du Plessis on Belal Muhammad's recent comments.

Jayson Tatum on responding to getting knocked on the floor and his body feeling sore after logging 30+ minutes: “I enjoy all aspects of coming back to play, not even — not just the fun parts, like, getting knocked on your ass and falling is a part of being in the NBA. “When he pushed me, you know, it knocked me off balance, but I laid there for a second. I was like, ‘Alright, no, I'm fine.’ “And it's just moments like that, where it's been a while since something like that has happened, so it is like a good feeling of like, alright, you know, I’m back.”

Spike’s biggest takeaway from the Phillies 5-4 loss to the Mets was Bryce Harper’s 9th inning strikeout: “Bryce Harper cannot have that at bat at that time. I know he went up there thinking about being a hero rather than getting a base hit… Bryce Harper is too good for an at bat like that.”

WOW You Can Make This Up, Google Earth Images Show A Water Tower Right Outside The Parking Lot Overlooking The Roof The Donald Trump Shooter Was On How did the Secret Service miss this? There is literally standing area up there Secret Service could have used for a vantage point. Inside job. “So this is approximately where the stage was set up. I mean, from what I can see, it was in between these two buildings straight out a little ways, probably at that road. Okay, If we go over let's actually click on this. We're gonna click measure distance. (WATCH VIDEO FOR IMAGES AND VIDEO FOOTAGE, IT’S WORTH IT) We're gonna measure. This is the roof. This is the roof where the shooter was right there. So roughly a 150, a 160 yards. That's where he was. I'm gonna back out of that. I'm gonna try to drop a pin here in the parking lot. So if I open that oh, wait. No. Let's just do this. Do that. If it'll do it, I'm gonna click this. Okay. That's the parking lot. So this right here is that roof that the shooter was on. Over here are those 3 buildings that you can see Pretty clearly I mean that roof line, the barn that the counter snipers were on Is, you know, slightly taller than this building here But, what he brought up was back behind all of this. That thing. Freaking water tower that nobody was on? Nobody? Secret service didn't have that? Like, even some guy with binoculars? You don't even need a counter sniper, but you can see literally everything from there. Right? I mean, I'm in the parking lot. I don't have a vantage point. I can't see from up there, but I know it's quite taller than even the trees. I don't know. Just seems a little odd that Secret Service didn't even cover that. Right? Doesn't that just seem weird to you?”

At the start of this year, Phil Mickelson had a crushing ball speed of 165mph. Within 2 months he upped that to high 170’s and topping over 180. That’s an incredible jump for a man in his 50’s! He puts it down to training with speed sticks and explains how he has to change his release the faster he gets. “What I do notice is as I speed the swing up, I have to change the release point of my golf swing. I use length to create the leverage that I want, so it takes a lot of pressure off. But, as I do that, I have to change where the release is. But if I speed up, when I get down to the ball the face will be open. So I have to feel like I’m releasing the club a little bit earlier.” Lefty is a master at going deep in explaining the technicals of the golf swing. Definitely give this a watch, it may help you hit bombs! 💪 💣 Phil Mickelson LIV Golf Troy Mullins

.Sarah Longwell: What about somebody like Zohran Mamdani? As I watched more of him, I was floored by what a good communicator he is. Even on his positions — he's this hero of the socialist left — but here he comes with pragmatic solutions. .Adam Jentleson: Totally. He's expanding his coalition. He's building a big tent. He's done a phenomenal job at talking about demanding excellence in government. If you want to be the party of government, you have any even greater responsibility to show people that you're using their taxpayer dollars responsibly.

"I do actually have a little bit of sympathy for Lewis. When you watch the [yellow flag] panel up on the left, it just comes on as he's going into the corner.... so there it's off and there it comes on. At this point though, Lewis's eyeline, look at his helmet, he's looking there, he's looking at the apex,he's basically under the panel, so it comes on quite late for him at that point." "Now if we just play it along here, he's clearly pushing on, you can see a little bit of correction on the way in, but at this point this is where I think he'll have a tricky time defending it because quite clearly his teammate's car is parked on the side of the track, quite clearly he could see it, and if I play along, he's accelerating at full speed." "So I don't know what the stewards will think of it. As I said I have a little bit of sympathy for him, and the fact that the yellow came out really when he was underneath the panel, so he may not have actually seen it, but we'll see what the stewards have [to say]." - Karun Chadhok

Asked Nuggets coach David Adelman about the season that Jaylen Brown has had, and he gushed about Brown as both a player and a person. "The the elite shooting from mid range is such a big deal in our game, it's the late-clock ability, his overall size, his ability to play in the middle of the floor, which is really hard to come double people and not give up the three point line to a team like they have, I would just say his continued evolution in his game. "He's an elite, All-Star player, two-way player. I just watched him grow over the years, not just the championship year, but with Jayson Tatum, obviously out, more responsibility falls into his hands, and I thought they did a great job building around him for this particular season, with all the shooting that surrounds him." "He's a problem. He's not fun to watch on tape when you have to play against him. I'm a fan of his, just as a pure basketball person, not just as a coach. Actually got to spend some time in Africa, he was such an impressive person. He's good for the NBA. He's going to be a probelm for us tonight." "There was an Africa game that I coach in, that he played in. They used to do that yearly in South Africa. It's an amazing event. He came down there for that. And some of the events that we had to do -- humanitarian stuff, you go out and you see these communities, and just to see his investment in it was really impressive. And he was at a much younger age then. And I remember him in the bubble, speaking up at meetings and things like that." "Some people are born to lead. He definitely stands out as one of those people."

🚨 Vaibhav didn't get a chance to bat in the nets. He didn't get a chance to face even a single ball in the nets so he was seen practicing with the ball. It's so unfair that the captain of the team is jealous of him and now he is not even getting a chance to bat in the nets.
