My eyes are drawn more to the skull gloves than to the cuteness of the cheetah.

#WATCH | Bengaluru | On NEET exam row, Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge says, "Three students missed writing the exam. Out of the three students, one student missed the bus in Magadi, which is in the opposite direction from where the Congress rally was taking place. Another student had brought an old hall ticket. One more student who was coming from RT Nagar also missed taking the exam. There is an SOP for the NEET students which was communicated to them. We had issued traffic advisories and a helpline for NEET. They need to ensure they cover up for Dharmendra Pradhan's mistakes. Why was there a need for a re-exam? Because there was a paper leak. Where were MP Tejasvi Surya and other MPs when the NEET paper leak happened? Even in Delhi, Mumbai, Gujarat and MP, students missed the exam. We gave clear directions and guidelines. A lot of people across the country could not take their exam, but the government has nothing to do with it."

If you want to understand the callousness of establishment with and the pain of students when exams get cancelled, you must watch this. The UGC NET exam was held on 18th June 2024 and cancelled next day. About 9.18 lac students took the exam. The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination centre (I4C) disclosed that the exam paper was available on dark web on 17th June, a day before the exam day. The MoE confirmed that exam paper was being sold for Rs.5000 on telegram channels a day before the exam date. The CBI concluded there was no actual paper leak and filed a closure report. The entire episode was traced back to a school student who doctored a screenshot of the genuine UGC-NET question paper from 18 June 2024, backdating it to 17 June, to give the impression he had obtained it a day before the exam. The UGC NET 2024 was conducted all over again because I4C and MoE raised a false alarm to cancel an exam. And 9 lac students suffered!!

ADMK introduced 11th public exams for the 2001–2002 batch, made us go through both 11th and 12th without a proper blueprint, and then cancelled the 11th exam after the results. Completely messed up our batch. Almost they traumatised our batch.

Historic milestone: Indian-born cheetah Mukhi gives birth to 5 cubs 🐾 🐾 In a delightful breakthrough for India’s cheetah reintroduction initiative, Mukhi — the first Indian-born female cheetah, aged 33 months — has given birth to five cubs. This is the first time in recent history that an Indian-born cheetah has reproduced, making it a landmark achievement for Project Cheetah. Successful reproduction by an India-born cheetah is a strong indicator of the species’ adaptation, health, and long-term prospects in Indian habitats. The mother and cubs are doing fine. This significant development reinforces optimism about establishing a self-sustaining and genetically diverse cheetah population in India, further advancing the nation’s conservation goals.
