Hi Beverly i wish you lots of healthy healing. I had a double mastectomy and lymph nodes removed in May. I have learned to listen to my body and just sleep when I need to. I tried to arrange a walk with friends every day to perk me up but I also asked to cancel if too tired.

You are helping so many with your daily posts. You have no need to worry which will eventually become clear. Please take care. Sending love and positivity ❤️

Hi Beverley , i had a mastectomy nearly 4 years ago and we are still swinging for the chandeliers and I'm so proud of my boobs and the scars . Keep going you have got this .... I lost my appetite and lived off pineapple it was so refreshing

My sister was a double JJ cup size when she had a mastectomy. Had a reduction on one side and a reconstruction on the other. She looks great and cancer free. Loving her DD cup 😊. You're doing great ♥️

Hi Bev you are doing great I went though all those thoughts of maybe my husband Steve won’t find me sexy anymore and we won’t have sex again but that’s just a normal way to think but if John loves you he won’t care what you look like as long as you’re alive that’s all will matter

Don’t think many people understand how draining it is 🫶tired all the time no eating I was the same frame of mind as you after my mastectomy wondering if this if that Stay positive and take time out for you Sending massive positive energy 💜

You will need to let your body recover and sleep is very good for that and your partner would rather you were alive so stop worrying about whats under the dressings; that can be dealt with once you recover.

Your posts are so honest which is easy but I'm sure they help so many. Try eating by schedule and not waiting till you're hungry. Something like overnight oats for breakfast. And eat off really nice plates so you look forward to the experience. X

Hi Bev My mom found soups and shakes more easier to manage after her operation She also found the thought of having her dressing removed Difficult Everything your feeling is normal and your sharing your feelings which is going to help you and your loved ones Sending hugs 🫶

PT3 on 26th Feb he goes back to Marsden to see if maintenance chemo can go ahead, due to a pause cos kidney function & scan results. So at the min its like living in hell & hope & all goes ok on Thurs. Hes shown an amazing response & looks & acts normal, mentally he isnt.

Totally understandable to have those worries. I don't think any woman wouldn't. Post surgery malaise hits you like a tonne of bricks. I had thumb surgery 2 weeks ago & it hit me day 3. Rest, rest, rest whenever you need to. Take care. 🫂💜
