They aren’t even worried about futures. They are trying to make the leap with less than the resources of their competitors because of the internal cap.

Wouldn’t McLeod and Byram be considered “one season right now guys” (yes ik Byram was deadline and 1 year). But these are more controlled risk bc RFA Status. Kesselring a guy you over pay and have 1 year left . I’d love Anderson but he has 6 team NTC

McLeod signed for 4 more Byram can’t leave without their permission. RFAs do not apply.

I also feel it is best for their future to do exactly what they're saying. They need to win at all costs. Because I believe Dahlin would ask out if you had a repeat of last year. (and potentially others) And if that happens your future is cooked no matter what.
