Eventually, participants no longer attempt moving their hands nor their cursor – they simply move, as if the BCI was a natural extension of their body

It just works

Minimal latency!

I imagine it’s like driving a car, you don’t really think about turning the steering wheel, or pressing the gas, you just think about going left or going faster and your body naturally handles the rest. This is super exciting because it’s not something I would have guessed before we’d done any human surgeries.

The thing that triggered me to realize was seeing this video:

yea that’s a great example of it. I recently read “Phantoms in the Brain” and am more convinced than ever that BCI controlled devices will just feel like a natural extension of the self, especially when stimulation capabilities are enabled

A true digital, tertiary layer of the brain!

It just works

BCI stands for Brain-Computer Interface, and it is a great mystery that technology detects and interprets brain signals to interact with computers or external devices. It's a truly wonderful scene.

so good to see these things 😍

😳😳

Find it amazing that the fda is just allowed to prevent mass access to the general public until its “proven not dangerous ”. Meanwhile they allow a certain amount of poison into our food supply, proven to cause health issues, because its “generally recognized as safe”.

Wow that’s cool

You don’t need to be a surgeon to work at Neuralink. Apply : ⤵️

This is absolutely incredible. Literally mind blowing. I’m interested in how this will change what we know about brain mapping. Does this help us understand real-time signal flow, learning changes, or consciousness pathway?

so they just move like a puppet now? great, another step towards losing what makes us human. big tech playing god again.

These clinical trial participants are intentionally controlling digital and physical devices, abilities that have been stripped from them by disease or injury. This device is intended to enable people with paralysis to reconnect with the world, not sure how you can see that as a bad thing.

Wow thats revolutionary

A miracle for so many. 👌🏻👍🏻

We have entered the Singularity

Neuralink began by training an ML system, then generalized it to recognize arbitrary shapes.

Wow, technology Is Fast 😄

If it feels like a natural extension, the real friction moves to comfort and safety in daily tasks
