Very elite!! You have to believe that their calves and quads are burning after these rehearsals, yet they show no signs of slowing down!! 🔥

The Russian Dancers at the Court of the Sugar Plum Fairy. The gaps in the action of these two is because there's a third guy - the Nutcracker - who dances with them on stage, but isn't in this rehearsal. The physical demands of this scene are ridiculous. The audience loves it.

I attend the ballet often and always marvel at the sheer athleticism displayed. It all looks so easy until you get home and try it, then realize the importance of muscle and flexibility. 😭

So many ballet companies these days are starved for male dancers, I don’t thing I’ve ever been to a performance of the Nutcracker that the male dancers pulling of athletic spectacles quite like this.

Figure skaters train in ballet for off ice training. It's rigorous indeed. This clip definitely shows the athleticism involved.

Parker (in the socks) and Leo (not in this clip) were a couple of my favorite male dancers in this school. Gonna miss those two.
