Hated death stranding, deleted it 3 times from the hardrive over the last 5 years as I tried to give it chance after chance. But finally in my fourth attempt I am 55 hours in and loving it. It's a brilliant game with some issues but brilliant no doubt, and if you are like me and have bought it but never finished this game, I have a few thoughts as to why you should give it another attempt. You might end up having a completely changed view of this game.

This is the attention to detail Tesla puts into the Cybertruck doors so it doesn’t unintentionally cut your fingers off. Remember these doors are super heavy and it could be dangerous if it closed on anyone’s finger. So what does Tesla do? Right when you open it, special levers are enabled to make it impossible for you to immediately close it. So after you open the door, you have to pull the door further out and then it will allow you to close it. These little things that are really a big deal, are what separates a Tesla from the rest, especially when it comes to safety.

Found a FSD V14.2 limit the other night in some of the worst fog I’ve ever driven through at night, while it was raining. In the early part of the video, you can see me take over. I did this because the car was going about 50 mph, and I completely lost my bearings. It’s funny, because cameras def see better in fog than humans. Even this video doesn’t look as bad as it looked to me IRL. But I was totally uncomfortable, and took over because I really had no clue where the road was at the moment I disengaged. FSD didn’t quit here and might’ve been fine, but I’d prefer to see it go slower in these moments. I wasn’t confident that it understood how bad the fog was, and I wasn’t familiar with the area. When I attempt to re-engage, FSD quits immediately. I think this was because of rain (you can see cam visibility pop ups). People will say this is a vision problem, but it really just comes down to needing better context and adjusting speed in these conditions. Conditions this severe aren’t super common, and the brain probably doesn’t have a ton of exp here yet. Idk if I’ll ever find myself in a condition this bad again but if I do I hope to see FSD signal greater awareness.

I tried to tell y’all how it works when I’m on the beach or in a tourists trap. I see these guys walking around with icy drinks and since everything else in the country was cheaper than they are here I would assume his drinks would be too. These guys will come by and even take your “order” if I don’t see something I want, he will say he can make it for me. These women fell for this and ordered 3 drinks from him. One of the ladies was so thirsty she immediately started drinking it until he told them they owed him $75. Mind you these are adult drinks, the cups look to be a decent size so is it worth it or are they just tripping out? I am on the fence with this one, if it’s clean and good quality, I may say this is a fair price but the only one I’m questioning is the one who tried to give it back after she already drank out of it. Rarely will I side with a street merchant because I feel like they’ve ripped me off quite a few times. But I think his price is valid for this. I’ve paid close to the same price for much less when I was at the beach. Most of the time I can tell they are well drinks that they tell me are too shelf. Many people can’t tell the difference but I can. I only drink certain brands and I am very used to what they taste like. This kind of interaction is why I now only buy from restaurants and bars like I mentioned before. I am not going to get into an argument with someone over something I ordered but failed to check the price first. That old saying, “if you have to ask them you can’t afford it.” That doesn’t apply here because if I have to ask then it means they should have listed the price up front.
