Then, using Lumas webviewer, I feed a screencapture of the model into Krea ai which details the model based on another prompt. Finally, Magnific AI is used to add the final finish. This might be the best synthetic performance I have got from a video model. We can generate 30-second shots and create near seamless extensions (with a bit of post blending) for far longer sequences, powered by Seedance Enterprise 2.5. I set out to test this out by making the scene below all-in-one shot. I wrote the script, built the character references in Seedream and then broke the script down to two 30 second prompts. The prompts were really detailed with pauses, gestures and emotional shifts and the model delivered on all of them. I was really impressed with the performance and voices which were generated in the model. Previously, AI film scenes had to be composed of short cuts, now we have options on pacing, and nuance... we can let our scenes breathe. All this done with only around 3 rolls per take, we have left the slot machine age of AI video Gen behind and are now in the age of control. Next for me will be testing real actors performance as a reference to drive the generation. Seedance 2.5 API is about to launch on BytePlus , and Lumina will also roll out Seedance 2.5 soon.

Omni mode enabled faster creation of short films, solo creators making feature-length films, and you can create a 15-second commercial in one shot with a single prompt. But it also opened the door to long, continuous takes, which were not possible. Usually the length of a generated clip is limited to 8–15 seconds. Of course some people tried to cheat around this limitation by doing last frame first frame generation and stitching, but it breaks the camera movement and the pace of the actions. With Seedance, it was very different: instead of fighting the engine I was able to think about what I would like to see, instead of what are the limitations. I planned the framing, the camera movement, the action, and built the three-minute sequence step by step. Of course, this means if you later realize that something is wrong three or four sections earlier, you have to redo everything that follows. I have been wanting to test performance transfer in Seadance 2.5 since launch, now I have, I am really impressed by the results. I wrote a short script and recorded myself giving a rallying speech as an orc warlord, then fed this and an image of the orc into Seedance with this prompt "A cinematic close up of an orc warlord giving a rallying speech to his army of orcs. Transfer the performance, movement and audio from Video 1 onto the the character Image 1. Do not add any music" I didn't prompt the dialogue or performance in text. The first video you see is a a final cut of the video, the second is the final cut of the video with my video performance. As you can see it's not an exact like-for-like transfer of the performance and voice but more a interpretation by Seedance. It's made my amateur performance better IMHO, more fitting with the creator but retain the essence, nuance and context. So you don't have to feed in a long prompt to get good performance out of your AI actors you can just show them what you want with a video! I used Seedance Enterprise on bytedances lumina platform Lumina link in the comments!
