Scared Aamir Khan needs to learn a thing or two about courage from the wonderful Naseeruddin Shah sahab. Why does Aamir Khan feel the need to clarify his wife's religion or whom his sisters married? Why respond to people who thrive on outrage and fleeting attention? In my view, such clarifications only give unnecessary importance to voices that don't deserve it. This is the same Aamir Khan who built his reputation on conviction, stood by his choices, and fought for his self-respect throughout his career. So why does he now appear to be explaining himself to insignificant critics? Aamir did one film at a time when other heroes were doing 25 films. He set the ground for others. On the other hand, there is Naseeruddin Shah sahab—an actor whose body of work speaks for itself. Whether it's his portrayal of JRD Tata in Made In India a Titan story. He defines what patriotism is all about. Main Vaapis Aaonga is an Oscar winning performance. He has delivered countless unforgettable performances over the decades, he has consistently expressed his beliefs without fear. That fearlessness, as much as his acting, will be remembered by history. With 1947 (earlier titled Lahore 1947), produced by Aamir Khan and based on a play by Avtar Bajaj sahab, I'm personally not convinced by the communication strategy around the film. Been getting msgs from people in India about the Sam Pepper situation. Sam himself said that the girl just had a scratch and she’s okay. He himself says that he feels uncomfortable filming a child and her injury, but in many clips later he conflicts his story and says there’s no injury. This just doesn’t add up, if she’s okay, why not just show a photo? Sam pepper then flees the country the very next day and goes to Africa. At the same time New Dehli police say on twitter they are going to investigate the situation. Sam pepper has had a history of fleeing the USA after his many scandals in the us to escape punishment, he left India and made some lies saying the girls okay that he shot in the eye with a firework. He expects us to take his word for it that she’s okay, and at the same time flees the country. The damage is done to the girl. It’s over. The least thing she could have is dignity for the rest of her life and to be taken care of. This is fucked. People seem to just not care because it’s some random girl in India, but her life is ruined. Apparently her dad is a tuktuk driver, they don’t have money, and now are being financially ruined, and their little girl lost an eye.

She has two assigned parking spaces in her apartment complex, and right beside hers are her neighbor’s two spots, usually occupied by his bright red pickup truck. Everyone knows which space belongs to who. One afternoon, the neighbor pulls in and finds a blue pickup truck parked in one of his reserved spots. Instead of calling management or having it towed, he grabs his tools, walks over calmly… and removes a tire from the back of the blue truck, leaving it propped awkwardly in the space. By the time the owner of the blue truck comes out, there’s confusion, frustration, and now potential damage involved. I understand the frustration of someone parking where they shouldn’t, especially in paid, reserved spaces. But escalating things physically can create bigger problems than the original mistake. Sometime, the smartest move isn’t the most dramatic one. Was that standing up for his property rights — or did he just turn a parking issue into a criminal one?

How many years did you watch Disney movies before you noticed this? Disney reused animation from earlier films more often than most of us ever realized. Movements from Snow White, The Jungle Book and The Aristocats were later reworked for Robin Hood, sometimes so closely that when you put the scenes side by side, the characters move almost exactly the same way. I understand why they did it. These movies were being made in the days of hand drawn animation, and Robin Hood in particular fell behind schedule, so earlier sequences were used to help get the film finished. But I watched these movies over and over growing up and never caught it. Not once. Now that you've seen it, do you think it's clever filmmaking, or does it change the way you look at those old Disney classics?

After claiming to approve the appointment of 4 Advisors to the NSFAS Administrator, he now says he does not know how much they are being paid, and whether or not he approved the amounts. If just 2 Advisors invoiced NSFAS nearly HALF A MILLION for July alone. Without even counting the cost of the Administrator, his Advisors alone are likely to cost the entity over R 24 MILLION over the period. All of this without any approval from the Minister of Finance as is required by the Act. In the video he is just aimlessly mumbling! You can barely make out what he is saying. South Africa's students deserve better than this. Buti Manamela is not the solution and cannot be trusted by the youth of this country, students in particular!

Unpopular opinion: King Charles needs to stop believing he can have it both ways. He cannot keep trying to reconcile with Harry in private while expecting it not to become another public spectacle. Every opening becomes another round of headlines, speculation, and Palace drama. Every gesture of goodwill is followed by another controversy, another round of competing narratives, and another attempt to drag the monarchy into a public family dispute. Yet the Palace keeps acting as though one more invitation or one more accommodation will somehow change the outcome. It won’t. I understand Charles is a father, but he is also the King. His first duty is to protect the Crown, not keep giving opportunities for the institution to be pulled back into the same crisis over and over again. Good intentions don’t matter if the result is always the same. Harry made his choice when he stepped away from royal duties and repeatedly took private family matters into the public domain. Charles now has to make his. Either accept that Harry is a private family member and keep those relationships entirely separate from the institution, or stop expecting different results from the same approach. The current strategy isn’t compassionate. It’s ineffective. Every half-measure creates another opening for speculation, pressure, and public drama. At some point, the King has to stop managing the symptoms and deal with the problem. Firm boundaries aren’t punishment. They’re leadership.
