It generates an image, calls the Tripo3D API, then starts an MCP server and a local viewer directly inside Codex. It uses the paid Tripo3D API (12 free generations, 600 credits included). We've been working hard on nailing the transitions and feel of open and closing columns. Feeling really good about where we've likely landed. Little burst of color at the top when a column opens to reiterate that's the column that changed. Cards load instantly. The column you closed gets a little bounce when it collapses. Very fluid and satisfying. You just want to play with it. Almost like a fidget. Business software doesn't have to be boring, bland, or corporate.

In general, I really enjoy awards season every year, but this year, knowing that Jennifer Lawrence could have been there and didn’t make it, I feel like I hate it all and don’t want to watch absolutely anything related to the Oscars and all this s*hit. It’s the first year of my life that I don’t plan on watching any ceremony. This is my little strike for leaving this queen out.

Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of jelly-like UI components, so I decided to make my own in #glsl, running on WebGL! I adapted the volumetric raymarching technique I use in my shaders and built a custom SDF for an iridescent keycap-style button that works as either a slider or a simple push button. The jelly feel comes from elastic easing functions that drive the SDF deformation. The scale, rotation, background, and color palette are all fully configurable.

The new Product Page Header image in the App Store will not matter. First you need users to actually want to enter your App Store listing. And the reality is that a lot of users NEVER enter the listing. They search for something, see the app in the search results and download it directly from there. So the important update here is the new Search Results image. It's an app banner inside the App Store search results. And you should think about it as a persuasive ad. COPYWRITING will be what matters. Not the fancy "branding". Users are searching because they want an answer to something. Your creative needs to give them that answer immediately. And this becomes even more important with Apple Ads. You can pay to appear for the keyword, but your creative still needs to convince the user that your app is the answer they were searching for.

The worst take about the web is that you should not use JS/React/etc because HTML alone is good enough. It's an 'austerity mind virus' that has captured even some smart engineers. The idea that the web is for 'documents' and if it stays in its own little box like 1995 it's going to somehow be better for the world. This is how we ended up with Safari having the most obnoxious limitations, including a back/forward navigation gesture that makes the web feel like a horrendous 'digital book' of sorts. No, the web is also for dynamic, rich, interactive applications. JS is a key ingredient in the recipe, otherwise every click and interaction will have to hit a server, feel slow, and we'll always be a second class citizen. The web's developer freedom & better deployment model will win in the end, but it can't come at the expense of quality.

Midjourney sref + Sora 2 Pro is the sauce. With one Midjourney style image, you can give a specific style for your entire project. I created two different 12-second clips and edited them together. Some details aren’t fully consistent, like the iPod or AirPods because the clips were made separately from a single image (Character in a specific style). It could be fixed in post-production, but that would take more time, and this was more of an experimental test. It would be great to add the actual product image with the current one to maintain product consistency. I feel like if there were a way to add 2–4 images into this workflow, it could open up a lot more possibilities and consistency. With an API, it could be possible. Or let’s see what Veo 3.1 has to offer.

Hot Take: The New Camera app on iOS 26 is GREAT i initially hated it when i first saw it on the keynote, but now that i've used it, I'm loving it It’s familiar while being really simple I've always felt that the Camera app on iOS has gotten really complex and convoluted in these last few years, and the new one fixes that, while still being as nuanced as the old app if you configure it the way you want it to behave takes some time to get used to, but this is great, it really does simplify the whole Ul but, this could've been the perfect time for Apple to introduce Manual controls as an Option in the Native app, even after all this redesign, Apple is still stubborn on not adding Manual Controls it's 2025 Apple,if you're gonna let users shoot LOG Video from the Native App, let us have Manual Controls as an option in the Native App, instead of downloading third party apps👏 i wonder how people shoot LOG Videos without Manual Controls💀

Bone Tide is officially out on the App Store and Google Play 🎉 The React Native Expo version runs on the exact same TypeGPU engine as the Web game, shared 1:1 between both platforms. Only the UI was ported to React This was made possible by some amazing work across the React Native open source ecosystem. Huge thanks to William Candillon for react-native-webgpu and for always helping me resolve any issues incredibly quickly :D I think it’s a pretty cool showcase of what can be built with React Native nowadays. If your website looks like everyone else's, it's working against you. Most sites today are the same. Same layout, same sections, same stock photos. And when everything looks the same, nothing stands out, including yours. The sites that actually do the job now have a point of view. They tell a story, guide you through it, make you want to keep scrolling. Branding, motion, interaction, the details that make someone feel something instead of just reading text. Take a look at this one. Not saying every site needs to be this. But if your goal is to impress, convert, or be remembered, flat and generic won't get you there anymore.

$Jason Schreier reports that Last Sentinel, an open-word scifi game developed by former Rockstar veterans and designed to compete with GTA 6, has been rebooted and most likely cancelled by Tencent after they spent 6 years and hundreds of millions on it. Tencent decided not to move forward with the project, as it didn’t feel like a Rockstar game. It was janky and didn’t hit the quality bar that Tencent executives expected. This video that’s circulating of Kylie and Timotheé is the perfect example of how every woman wants a man to act towards them. Literally all of his attention is on her. He is making her feel like the most beautiful and special girl in the entire room. And you can tell he’s absolutely obsessed with her. This is all a woman wants. I checked most categories and couldn't see the 𝕏 app anywhere, which is something Apple highly controls through its editorial team.
