That’s deep. We owe much to our ancestors

Yes...

That's why my heart breaks when I see a black person on substance abuse and it's why I detest drug dealers who are especially black. You are a miracle black person reading this🖤 special beyond doubt

Reminds me of the story Wanda Sykes told on the Ellen Show. When, what looked like the ghost of a slave woman, visited her in a hotel room & how this ancestor was in total awe & proud of her. It was not a joke. #TrueStory

I tell my kids. "Do you know, how special you are".

100%, that is why it hurts Soo much to see black man kill another black man for trivial things! Ancestors survived against all the odds to be killed for his chain.

And we all walk with Ptsds. Exhausted from all the hatred , but we rise each morning. 💕🤪

This is Kiesha Garrison, Founder of Black Girl Art House and “Hey, Black Seattle” on Episode 26 of “Unmute The Voices” - a radio show and video series on youtube. #citeBlackwomen

Thank you 🙏🏿
