Every child in our province deserves a life of dignity and that starts with a great public education. I’m proud to stand with our dedicated Educational Support Workers in Fort McMurray. This week I had the privilege to walk the picket lines with them and listen to their stories. These education workers do so much for our children, often dealing with some of our most complex students in our classrooms. The UCP is failing our educators, parents, and children by not paying these workers a fair wage. They deserve better. Alberta deserves better.

These are thousands of our children who have become victims of illegal deportation, forced displacement, and detention in temporarily occupied territories. They are enduring horrific trials that should never have been part of any childhood. We are fighting for each and every one of them. In 2024, under the Bring Kids Back UA initiative, Ukraine managed to bring 449 children back home. We are grateful to everyone around the world who supports and contributes to this work. We must save every abducted child – every invaluable life. #BringKidsBack
