We are made in the image of God, and when we give ourselves to the word continually, we become like God. Amazing story, I just hope many more people get to watch this.

Beautiful illustration — but it's attached to the wrong text. Malachi 3:3 isn't about God refining suffering believers. It's a judgment oracle against corrupt priests who were offering God their leftovers instead of their best (Malachi 1:8). The "sons of Levi" are the target. The purpose is restored worship, not reflected image. "When I see my image in it" isn't in the verse — or anywhere in Scripture. The stunning part everyone misses: Jesus fulfilled this prophecy. He came suddenly to His temple (Malachi 3:1), drove out the corruption (Matthew 21:12-13), and replaced the failed priesthood with us — living stones offering spiritual sacrifices (1 Peter 2:5, 9). If you want the refining metaphor done right, 1 Peter 1:6-7 actually says it: faith tested by fire like gold, proven genuine, resulting in praise at Christ's return. No fabricated silversmith conversation needed. The real Malachi 3:3 is more powerful than the illustration — but it asks a harder question: Are we offering God our best, or have we gotten comfortable giving Him what's convenient?

That gave me goosebumps

He explains that the silver must endure this intense heat, but he has to watch it constantly. If left in the fire even a moment too long, the silver would be damaged or ruined. As she reflects on God "holding us in such a hot spot" during life's trials, she asks how he knows when the silver is fully refined. The silversmith smiles and replies, "That's easy, when I see my image in it." 🫠👻🩶

Wow. The bible is always true. We serve a loving God

I posted this a long time ago and I felt it needed to be posted again. It's one of my favorite posts.

I love this. Thank you for sharing it.

Thanks Jesus for everything you did!

Wow. That gave me goosebumps. 🙏🏻

Wow Thank you for sharing 🙏

OMY, the last phrase: instant tears & a BAM to my heart ❤️

Love it. For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye. Zechariah 2:8 He is so close to us that he can see himself reflected in our eyes. 😁

@RedFish1A Chills. Amazing

Wow, that gave me a chill.

Amen

Christ is the refiner. Refining silver takes a steady hand, if it is held for too long in the fire, it destroys the silver, it isn't until the refiner can see his own IMAGE in the silver that it is truly perfected.
