I watched this interview a long time ago, but I chose to accept this apology today. Not because I needed time to hear the words, but because I needed time to heal from the disappointment of realizing how easily people can forget those who genuinely played a part in their journey. Life has a way of humbling us. It reminds us that you can pour your heart into helping others and still be forgotten when the lights get brighter. But I have learned that what you do with a pure heart is never wasted. Every experience becomes a lesson and every lesson makes you stronger.

Most people think of time as something that happens to them. The hours pass. The days disappear. The weeks blur together. And eventually they find themselves asking, "Where did all the time go?" But what if that's the wrong question? What if time isn't something that simply passes? What if time is something you're continuously creating? Remember that. You can make 500% in a year and be in a drawdown 95% of the time. That's just how it works. If anyone's gonna tell you otherwise, they're a liar and probably trying to sell you something. Look at stuff like NFLX over the past 10 years or AMZN. One of the best performing stocks over 10 years. You can see it spent like, what, 2/3 of the time in a drawdown. Now it's in a drawdown again. Where this ends, who knows. That's just how it works. No matter how good or bad your returns are, you're gonna spend most of the time in a drawdown. No matter what. Only time you're not gonna do that, if you’re a day trader or scalper, one of these guys that make 50 bucks per day and they're super happy about it. They make like 500 trades, end up with 50 bucks.”

Don’t Scroll—God Is Calling You to Submit and Move Praise the Lord that He has given us such a commission and such a call and we should be humbled by that and we should want to go out for His kingdom and do that. All of you are usable by God. There is not one of you that is not usable if you're only willing to submit. We all fall short. It's a matter of who is willing. Here I am, Lord, send me. That's what Isaiah said. Here I am. Send me. You are all usable. When a lot of you out there go, well, what can I do for God in my life? There's a lot you can do. If you're only willing to be picked up as an instrument in his Hands and implemented the way you were created to move. Many of you are operating outside the realm of what you were created to be. And in this season, that's going to be reconciled. And many of you are going to change course in this season drastically. Because you're in jobs, you're in areas, you're doing things, you were not created to do. You have gifts for it, but you weren’t created to do it. And there's going to be massive shifts in many of your lives and a sudden turn. And the Lord is going to realign. And this is going to be quick when He does it. Realign you into the position, redirect you and put you on that course because time is short and He needs you operating in what you were created to do. He needs that right now. And many of you are going to enter that process in this season. So praise the Lord because you are. You will enter that process and you will be redirected. And you will do what is written about you in the books of heaven, what you were created to do on this earth. Because many of you know and feel uncomfortable and know you're not in your call. You know you are just trying to try to endure, you're trying to survive. And it's because you're not in your call. Surrender to God, allow Him to redirect you into your call and your purpose that you were beautifully created to do. Because it's needed in this season and we cannot dilly dally anymore and go dabbling in things we are not created to do. It's time for us to go to work and it's time for us to be willing to go there.

When God shows up, everything changes!! You can have the right theology, attend the right church, say all the right things, and still have never had a real encounter with His presence. And it's in that encounter where everything shifts. Where conviction comes. Where healing happens. Where the thing you've been carrying gets lifted. Where your mind begins to change, not because you tried harder, but because His presence was working on you.

The danger of AI is not just the slop, but what we lose in the process. Michael Pollan explains: "We're moving into this time where we're gonna sub out writing to AI. And AI can write our papers, and professors are dealing with this everywhere now. But what is lost is a way of thinking. Writing does something to your brain. It gives you access to things you can't know just walking around or thinking or planning or outlining. If you were just transcribing what was in your head, it would be kind of onerous. But it really is what you learn in the course of a day spent writing, things you didn't know, ideas that you didn't expect. And that's the thrill of it."

Jordan Peterson on why you must never give yourself an "easier" task to avoid the hard one: Peterson explains a psychological trap that almost everyone falls into when facing something difficult. "Don't practice what you do not want to become." He describes what happens inside your brain when you're avoiding a hard task: "If you're really sneaky when you're trying to do something hard, what your brain does is give you something else hard to do that's not quite as hard, so that you can feel justified in not doing the thing you're supposed to 'cause you're doing something else useful." This is the trap. You feel productive. You're busy. But you're not doing the thing. And every time you give in, you make it worse: "If you give into that temptation which you often will, then it wins. And because it wins, it gets a little dopamine kick and it grows stronger. Anything you let win the internal argument grows. And anything you let be defeated shrinks, because it's punished." This is Peterson describing neurology: "Those are neurological circuits. You build those things in there. They're not going anywhere. You can build another little machine to inhibit them. That's the best you can do. Once they're in there, you can't get them out." Even the circuits you build to resist the bad habit aren't permanent: "The ones you build to inhibit can be taken out by stress and the old habits will come back up." So what's the actual lesson? Every time you dodge the hard thing, you're casting a vote for the version of yourself that avoids hard things. You're wiring that pattern deeper into your brain.

I gotta admit, yesterday was not easy, but that's the days, days like that, you gotta grab your balls and say you know what? Pullback days happen. And there's no reason to sell just because we have a down day. There's no reason to sell if you have no reason to sell. Other than that, it's a down day. Pullbacks happen. You want a big winner? You gotta endure some pullbacks. That's just how it works. You can't have straight up action every day. One that tested me a little bit was FNGU. That one dipped below the 20 day, but then it bounced exactly where it should have bounced. So it was a little bit of relief into the close, but I really thought I was gonna get stopped out of this thing. But it wicked nicely into the close and closed about the 20. Because that's my biggest position. Having a 15% pullback in a few sessions, it kind of hurts. But you know, sometimes you gotta grab your balls and just follow your sell rules. Because if you don't follow your rules, you're gonna be a loser. And not loser in a good way. You're gonna be like working shifts at McDonald's. Because you blew up your account. That type of a way. Gotta follow your rules. Sometimes it hurts. Sometimes you have to endure volatility.”

You want to be liked, but you want to do something selfish. You don't want to go to work, but you want to make money. You have two conflicting desires, and that's stress." Naval explains the difference between stress and anxiety: "Anxiety is this pervasive, unidentifiable stress where you're stressed out all the time and you're not even sure why. The reason is you have so many unresolved problems that have piled up in your life, you can no longer identify what the problems are. There's this mountain of garbage in your mind. A little bit is poking out the top like an iceberg; that's anxiety. But underneath, there's a lot of unresolved things." If you can keep that idea in front of you at all times, what's there to stress about?" Naval reframes what "wasted time" really means: "What is wasted time? Everything is wasted time in a sense because nothing matters in the ultimate. But in each moment, it's the only thing that matters. Naval Ravikant: "You're going to die. It's all going to zero. What's there to stress about?" "Stress is when your mind has two conflicting desires at once. You want to be liked, but you want to do something selfish. You don't want to go to work, but you want to make money. You have two conflicting desires, and that's stress." Naval explains the difference between stress and anxiety: "Anxiety is this pervasive, unidentifiable stress where you're stressed out all the time and you're not even sure why. The reason is you have so many unresolved problems that have piled up in your life, you can no longer identify what the problems are. There's this mountain of garbage in your mind. A little bit is poking out the top like an iceberg; that's anxiety. But underneath, there's a lot of unresolved things." He shares his personal anxiety resolver: "One big anxiety resolver for me is just ruminating on death. You're going to die. It's all going to zero. You cannot take anything with you. If you can keep that idea in front of you at all times, what's there to stress about?" Naval reframes what "wasted time" really means: "What is wasted time? Everything is wasted time in a sense because nothing matters in the ultimate. But in each moment, it's the only thing that matters. So if you're doing something you want to do and you're fully there for it it's not wasted time. If your mind is running away, wishing you were somewhere else, anticipating the future, regretting the past, that's wasted time. That's time you're not present for."
