@orch_research the PI metaphor is right. built something similar for a client in market research, you set direction, agents run parallel experiments. the bottleneck is always figuring out what question to ask, not running the experiment.

@orch_research Building it isn't the hard part. Researchers are creatures of habit with deeply embedded stacks. The challenge is migration, not functionality.

@orch_research A true research IDE would have to be a standalone app with possibility use it offline and/or with local LLM. A serious research cannot run in cloud from confidentiality point of view. Like medical research for example or anything which deals with prospective IP rights.

@orch_research this is a starting point of exploring all-on-cloud research. I think we would have both in the future
