Obamacare is now the Unaffordable Care Act. To fix health care costs, we must address the root problems. My plan would stop the funneling of billions of taxpayer dollars going toward giant insurance companies, and send that directly TO THE PATIENTS, lowering costs for all.

Instead of trying to put out the fire, Doug Ford poured gasoline on it. We can’t trust either of them to fix health care now. Moreno: You should ask the next Democrat that you have on what is your plan to fix your health care plan? Collins: It’s been 15 years since Obamacare passed. We haven't seen a Republican plan to replace it. Moreno: Obama was president for four years. President Trump was president for four years. And then, of course, Biden… Collins: You’re acknowledging there was a Republican president in between those two Democrats who's now back in office.

It was all a big lie. They made these promises that it was going to drive healthcare costs down. If you look in the exchanges, from the inception of Obamacare to today: a 221% increase in premiums. The CPI over that same time period was about 39%, and in the individual market it was about 68%. So it’s a failure. So what are we doing? We're going to put money in people’s pockets, and instead of having money go directly to the insurance companies — which is the way Obamacare works today — the American people, through an HSA account that they manage, will be able to spend that money in the way they want to spend it."
