I would argue that David Draiman is one of the best vocalist in modern history. His range and control is absolutely amazing. His voice is Butterscotch (smooth like butter, hard like scotch)!

And here we are…60 years later, and there’s still so much truth to this song. It’s so sad…the truth. But…I declare in the name of Jesus that it’s about to change. When people learn to hear others’ hearts…it’s coming. I’m just as bad as the next guy…but I don’t intend to stay this way. I was 14 years old when S & G put this out. It was always one of my favorite songs, but I have to admit that at that age and even beyond, my ears didn’t hear the heart of these words. Thank you for sharing it. This guy does a phenomenal job with it.

I only recently came across this version of this song. Had no clue who they were, as I stopped listening to "new* music in 1992 because i just didn't like it. The way he sings this song is incredible and I watched the video multiple times because I was in awe.
