I knew the hazards were coming and people don't realize it's a fat ticket to impede traffic with hazards because of rain. At least I north Florida. The cyber truck was a bonus, looks like they had TV boxes tho.

Most of these Yankees that moved down here do not realize it’s against the law to run your hazard flashers while moving in Florida. They should only be only used when the vehicle is not moving.

It would help greatly if people out an extra 100 feet between them and the car in front when it’s raining. That’s how much stopping distance increases in rain. Most people will never do that even though there’s a 1/3 higher risk of crashes during rain than dry weather.

What would help is if people that feel the need to put the hazard lights on pulled off the road until the rain passed. Just because they have bad wipers, bald tires or poor eyesight is no reason to go 20mph with flashers on because it's raining.

I believe they made that legal in Florida a few years ago for that reason.
