Every good man deserves a homely caring wife

Huh? Homely? The definition of homely is unattractive.

Maybe homely meant something positive long ago, but it doesn’t mean “homey” in present day terms. 😄 There is a funny old song that goes “if you want to be happy for the rest of your life, never make a pretty woman your wife. So from my personal point of view, get an ugly woman to marry you!”
