Every Kid Need to Learn This: Assets Vs. Liabilities.

This should be one of the most important subjects in school but what they focus on are now irrelevant

This is the one lesson that would've saved most of us years, nobody explained the difference between something that pays you and something that costs you until way too late. Teaching it this young changes the whole starting line.

A phone is a huge liability. If you calculate how much you’ve spent on data alone this year especially in Nigeria, where everything is so expensive you might realize it’s enough to buy an iPhone.

The Shoes…as a liability got to me, I have stopped. I used to be guilty of this crime

and some gals go under liabilities

Phone can be an asset depending on how you are using it.

This is what they taught us in school, and now we are facing it in real life.

I don’t think this definition is entirely correct, from accounting perspective assets and liabilities do not exactly mean what is being taught here.
