To me this looks like he might not be the kid's father. I was a step dad to 2 young boys. When they accept you as their dad, it is one of the coolest feelings ever.

i have twins. luckly i have two arms. long enough to do my best to keep them happy warm and well fed even on bad work days. i remind myself to y i go work.

I never had that experience in my life. But, I made sure my kids had that in their lives as they were growing up!

I want to have my future child sit on my lap as they play The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time and they look up at me every now and then asking “am I doing okay dad?” And I will just respond “you are doing amazing my child.”

My grandson does that every day he's always gives me a kiss and a hug and want me to hold him. Always me feel so good

Never got to experience this as a kid... Won't as an adult. If you're lucky enough to be a father.. please be the best you can for them. Some of us wish we got as lucky as y'all to have a family. Much love to y'all.

And people give this holy structure up for meaningless things...

People without kids HAVE NO IDEA. And never will... And it's too bad.

Both of my boys are going through a very heavy mama's boys phase so when they come to sit with me to do anything, gotta cherish every second of it
