This is for some couples I guess, but I want say as a Man, I feel a bit different. I don’t need my wife to light candles or throw on a knockout outfit to remind me of what she means to me. Those things can be fun, sure, but I fell in love with her soul, not a performance. I remember the quiet moments. The way her eyes soften when she feels safe with me. The comfort I feel in her presence. The way she lets me be fully myself, even when I say something dumb, which is pretty often it seems, but when I do she just smiles like I’m still her whole world. She doesn’t need to 'be the date night' or lead with confidence for me to crave her, I crave her simply because of who she is. Her friendship. Her loyalty. Her laugh. The deep kind of love we’ve built together over the years. So to the wives out there wondering if they need to turn up the heat or put on a show to keep their husband’s attention, hear me out too: your presence, your spirit, your authenticity, that’s the magic. And to my wife, in case you see this, if you ever wonder if you’re enough just as you are, you are.

Wives, and please understand I’m not trying to be disrespectful or vulgar here, but please understand. Just suck his dick, learn how he likes his steak and master cooking it that way everytime, listen to his admittedly boring stories about engines, tools, and guy shit, and don’t be a pain in the ass. That’s literally all you have to do. This isn’t a round about way of saying “cook, sex, and shut the fuck up”. It’s just what men want. We don’t want whores we just want enthusiastic partners who crave our bodies as much as he craves yours. And I do not remember in saying ANYWHERE in the Bible, thou salt not suck thy husband’s dick. Give it a shot. But remember, the key to all of this is respecting him. If a man is respected he will go above and beyond, do WHATEVER it takes to reciprocate that respect. Were simple yet loyal creatures.

She is exactly right. It doesn't need to be excessive...it doesn't need to be extravagant. It just needs to happen a few times a year. And if your man needs more than that, he's high maintenance or possibly immature.
