Electric cars, now the Horse Bot Scooter. Cons- It will never love you back. You can't smell the sweet smell of oats when you feed them or feel their whiskers when they give you love nips or their velvety muzzle when you pet them. Pros- You can store them in a closet when you don’t have room for them. They won’t crap all over your property. They won’t feel neglected when you don’t have time for them. You won’t have costly vet bills. You don’t need a visit from the farrier. There are plenty of reasons why these would be a fun idea. Nothing beats the real thing, but, this idea may be a starting point for those who think they may want to have a real horse someday without the guilt of having to give it up to someone else if they should choose to not want a horse after all.😉

It is hard to watch other families give their kids things you can’t afford and wonder if your children are falling behind. But you don’t have to go into debt, pause the Baby Steps or sacrifice your family’s financial peace just to keep up. Your kids don’t need the most expensive school, the nicest car or every opportunity money can buy. They need parents who love them enough to say no, teach gratitude, model integrity and show them how to do hard things. Staying on the Baby Steps isn’t depriving your kids. You are teaching them that wisdom matters more than appearances and that money is a tool, not a measure of their worth. You aren’t failing your kids because you can’t give them everything.
