On this day, my son was having a bad game and throwing tantrums during their first game that they lost. Myself and his coach spoke to him just before the 2nd game reminding him how good he is. The coach said to him “can I get Hattrick from you in this game” Guess what? He did!!!

According to a former NBA coach I spoke with, even if the Spurs had somehow won Game 5, today’s conversation would be about Victor Wembanyama not playing in Game 6. His firm belief is that the league would have upgraded this incident to a flagrant foul upon review (and seeing Victor's eyes looking down toward the landing space), thus triggering the automatic one-game suspension. What is undeniable is that these playoffs changed something. Every villain has an origin story. We may have just watched Wemby's begin. I say bring it! #PorVida

Anthony Volpe can do amazing things like this. The frustrating thing about him, though, is that he will then botch a routine play by throwing a ball away or meekly ground out when he’s ahead in the count. The Yankees have given him every opportunity to succeed, and he just can’t get out of his own way when the ability is there.

Brian Daboll alluded to this point 5 times during his postgame press conference after the Giants beat the Colts 45-33. “I think If you get good quarterback play, you have an opportunity in every game.” Seemed to be his argument why he deserves the opportunity to continue as Giants head coach. The question is why haven’t they received better QB play over the past 2 seasons.
