Back in AZ getting the work in… Last time I was here, I still had my day job. That day was full of the things I love most. I trained my son and a group of DBs, got my own work in—Dilly Dallies and all—and made a Target run for a creator light so I’d have a setup for NFL Live with my favorite people. Faith, to me, has always been a source of quiet strength, a guiding light that nurtures courage in moments of doubt and compassion in times of hardship. This year marks another blessed celebration of Kali Pujo at my residence, a tradition that has been part of my life for decades. Through every joy and sorrow, I have found solace and purpose in the boundless grace of Maa Kali. Like every year, I observed the day in prayer and reflection, fasting and preparing bhog for Maa. As I bowed before Her, I sought Her blessings for the people of Bengal and for every household across our country, that peace, health, and happiness may prevail. My heartfelt gratitude to all who joined in the celebrations and offered their love and wishes. May the eternal light of Maa Kali dispel darkness and fill every life with strength, harmony, and hope. Make pull ups a primary exercise. Train all sets to failure and vary your grip every workout to hit different angles. When I started I could only do 1 rep per set so I did 50 sets of 1 rep until my body adapted. Today my typical session looks like 12, 10, 8, 8, 6, 6 reps for 50 total. A few notes for elite form: > Keep your entire core tight through every rep up and down. > Feel your lats pulling on your abs on the way up. > Exhale on exertion and inhale on the descent. Mix in negatives occasionally for controlled slow descents that build serious strength. The pull up builds a thick back, v-taper, grip, core and delts all in one movement. A hard body demands pull ups.
