FINANCIAL LITERACY should be a priority in high school for ALL AMERICAN’s including investing, buying a home, balancing your bank accounts, car and home loans, credit scores and retirement accounts. Let’s set our kids up for success and teach them the pros and cons.

Yes!! That’s the way my husband and I who are independent teachers, edutainers, have been teaching for 30 years. Schools have tried to hire us but we’d never go, we were having too much success to risk it in a school.

This is who AOC calls the most unintelligent Billionaire she’s ever met. She couldn’t begin to follow his train of thought.

I'm a history teacher and I completely agree! I do the best with the constraints the system has in place, but if I had carte blanche on how to improve learning it'd be like so... I'd create a version of The Sims or GTA, but for American history, e.g. you start off on a little plot of land in Boston in 1760 and then work through historically relevant missions/events to make money to make your farm house nicer and nicer. The curriculum should also be much more test driven with how to learn largely left up to the students, e.g. after you pass a test you move onto the next level and get additional real money added to your Education Savings Account.

The type of people who typically go into teaching are not creative, fun, interesting, or interested. They want their job security for themselves. And not forward thinking beyond that. Kinda like politicians. They simply don’t attract the personalities that are needed.
