Sadly the land kept shifting and moving into the water, it became an un-winnable battle. The course sadly had to be abandoned. I never got to play the original. Plane Crash: Haggin Oaks Golf Course Crews arrived to a plane that emergency landed on the golf course and came to rest up against the pro shop. The pilot had minor injuries and was able to walk away from this incident. No others were injured.

Why it’s a good idea to play golf with me- or hang out with me. I have been present or have hung out with people who have had 9 hole in one’s. Today I spent the day at Mt Lake. My host gets a hole-in-one on the very last day the course is open. The course goes under restoration tomorrow!!! Last week it was an albatross on the MacKenzie Course at 21 Golf Club. Even saw one at Augusta National. I am a lucky charm!

Scotland continues… After the Old Course on Wednesday and North Berwick yesterday… we decided to gallop down (get it 😉) to the ancient links of Musselburgh for a quick nine this morning. The oldest golf course in the world! Played with hickories as well… and Society of Golf Historians, you’ll be excited to hear that Jordan LOVED playing with them! This golf course has a drive thru halfway house! Yay or nay? I say heck yeah. If you are a cart course, then let’s just speed up play. Halfway houses are often horribly designed and run, adding 10-15 minutes to every round. So if on carts anyway, just go all in. Traditionalists aren’t going to be happy anyway, so who cares. Let’s keep the round moving! The course is Shaker Ridge in Ny. 🎥 Golf Digest

The renovation of Belleair CC’s East Course involves moving some seriously mature trees. The process and planning for moving these trees is very thorough. The result- a completely renovated golf course with a seasoned feel to it. Unlike the restoration of our West course, the East is only restoring about a third of Ross’ design. Why not restore it all? It was an impossible task- back in the 1980s our current clubhouse was built over the original driving range. At that time we built a new driving range and lost two par threes and the opening holes of the East. Around that same time the club needed a irrigation pond for the 36 holes, which ate up a good portion of Ross’ East Course design on the other side of the road. The result of that redesign was a course which had 6 subpar golf holes. This renovation will create a better golf course designed to challenge all skill levels. I am very excited to have a better East Course!

At the Trump golf course with President Trump -). Am in Palm Beach, the weather is divine and i got a chance to talk to the President about my favorite country India and how crucial it is for the US, to have India strongly aligned with us. He said he “loves both India and Modi and all will be well”. Surprisingly, he said I could follow him on the golf course Which I am now doing. 😎. Hoping to get a few more words in about my aspiration to play a role in fostering entrepreneurship in Middle East. As the only antidote to religious fanaticism.

What was your favorite new course you played in 2024? My choice is easy. The Old Course at St Andrews. We teed off at 5:30PM after I waited for hours praying for a spot. We finished in darkness, I couldn’t see my ball flight here on the famous 17. Nothing else like it. Met and bonded with so many other golf nomads trying to get a spot off the wait list, it’s truly unlike anything else. A course I want to play 1000 times.
