Kitty and Yuri was originally supposed to be endgame and I’ll stand by that however the straights loved this show so much they completely ignored the fact that Kitty was in love with Yuri so Jenny Han made Mooncovey endgame because she’s a coward.

Actor and director Alan Cumming talks about ‘Heated Rivalry’, stressing the need for more queer stories to be told (via elisagnyc) “There are actually less queer people and trans people on our screens than there were a year ago. There have been many shows cancelled in the last year and a half that have queer and trans characters.”

if mike wheeler isn't queer and doesn't have internalised homophobia then why does the concept fit the narrative so well without any plot holes staying consistent every season

TOH is really good at capturing what it's like to be 14 and queer 😭 And even gave Luz the most dreamy prom dance with a girl she likes, the type every queer kid deserves

Trigger Warning : Self Harm, Mention Of Suicide "Behind every proud trans woman you see today is a child who just wanted to be loved, accepted and taken care of. My survival itself is a form of representation and advocacy for trans rights in India. Content creation and acting became platforms through which I could speak about things that were often suppressed or simply never spoken about. I don’t only want to talk about the pain of being queer. I want to talk about queer happiness, queer families, queer grief, queer school experiences and all the ordinary parts of life that queer people experience too. I want young trans people, queer people and people who haven’t come out yet to see that there are people like them outside. That they are not alone. That we are just as equal as everyone else.” ~ Pranavi Boxer Grover #TransRights #LGBTQIA #QueerRepresentation #Pride #Equality [Trans Representation In India, Queer Stories And Representation, Trans Rights And Equality In India, LGBTQIA+ Representation In Media, Inspiring Trans Voices In India]

Some Heated Rivalry fans are so weird. WHY are people attacking Francois for being seen with Connor? Why attack the only alleged queer couple from a queer show??

The right is coming after queer and trans people — and anyone who stands with them. Our job isn't just to defend queer and trans people. It's to fight for everything LGBTQIA+ people deserve. Happy Pride!

sterling point feels so fresh and good because after so long there is a show with proper communication no forced connection, real chemistry and real queer representation that didn't treat them like side characters. IKTR

"I did this show called Agatha [...] and there's a lot of like incredible young, very young, queer women and queer boys that are were really, really touched by that show, like meant a lot to them. And so that really like fills my cup that that existed and the fact that we could make a show that was like queer and women and women over like 40 and like all of that about and in underneath the arm of Marvel, which was like pretty rad. I feel really like proud that that happened." – Kathryn Hahn on the impact of Agatha Harkness on her fans.

This is why it is important to have celebrities who support the queer community unapologetically and with rawness because still +50% the queer community are living in hell and hear people talking about murdering them every second.
