every single choice blunt makes through this scene is earth shattering stuff but "i don't like your phrase" specifically has not left my mind since i first heard it 5 months ago

She stole the show for me tbh, I was riveted whenever kitty was on screen. “You shook his hand?” 🫡🫡

People complain that she (any women) weren’t featured enough but BY GOD does Nolan know how to make those minutes matter. I’m obsessed with this performance.

The foundation of the work was the remarkable script. Emily then was able to add color to the text. What a movie. Everything about it.

She's such an underrated actress man... Hope she gets some love for her performance in this film!

@VyceVictus When I saw this movie I was legitimately angry that they cast Emily Blunt for the long-suffering wife role. I thought it was a waste of her talents. Then this scene hit and I was like, "OH! THAT'S why you cast Emily Blunt!"

I wasn’t sure before but watching this again I’m definitely sure that she deserves an Oscar nod for this scene alone. And Blunt is overdue for her very first nomination.
