Every. Single. Time. people think they can fight the system. This cop turned what could’ve been a two-hour standoff into a fifteen-second miracle. People don’t want drama. They don’t want speeches. They just want to fly.

Such people should be added to a true, no-fly list.

Honestly, half these situations could be avoided if folks realized flying is a privilege, not a personality test. You act up on a plane, you shouldn’t be shocked when you're booted.

We need to do this all the time. Airlines are reluctant because of the cost and potentially negative PR. We need a passenger bill of rights. This should be followed by a significant, sustained crackdown on antisocial behaviour.

Can the people that do this not predict even a few minutes into the future? Do they REALLY think this is going to end in anything other than them being removed (and hopefully banned from this airline).

I blame the heinous Covid lockdowns. Our social cohesion deteriorated, people began driving like maniacs, not making eye contact, acting as though they had no accountability to any authority once social norms were dropped.

My friend was a little drunk and sort of obnoxious on a flight back from Nashville. He was told to get his things and was escorted off of the plane. Most people didn’t even know what was going on, because he’s an adult and understood the consequences of his actions.

Bring back the 1970's cops and see how fast things change.
