Every time Beyoncé is criticized on social media, the discourse ends up exposing itself. It rarely starts from a place of honesty, it’s rooted in hatred and built to confirm why they already don’t like her. They question her intelligence, mock her wealth, strip her of agency, and then...

And they try to use buzzwords to make it seem like they are making an intelligent and nuanced critique but it’s mostly just surface level and regurgitated nonsense.

And like I said….when she does something worthy of criticism, we will criticize. All she does is exist and yall wanna criticize her for breathing. It’s dumb.

Seeing the reaction from Stans whenever Beyoncé’s touring numbers drop is always fun to watch. The reason Stan Twitter tries so hard to downplay Beyoncé’s success is simple: her success doesn’t make sense to them. They grew up in an era where relevance is measured by TikTok trends, monthly listeners, and streaming stats. If you’re not on their “For You” page or trending in their circle, then to them, no one is talking about it. That’s the bubble they live in. But Beyoncé had already been that girl before most of them were even born. She grew up at a time where success was measured differently. Back when albums were bought in stores, played on CD players, and listened to with intention, not just shuffled in the background. People listened when they needed to, when it fit into their lives. That behavior carried into the streaming era. So no, her fans aren’t streaming every hour to inflate numbers or chase chart positions. They stream when it matters, when the moment calls for it. Because they have lives - jobs, families, real responsibilities. Music is part of their world, not their whole identity. To them, if a tour doesn’t sell out in five minutes, it’s a flop. But Beyoncé’s audience isn’t made up of teens with autoplay on. Her fans are grown. They budget. They plan. They coordinate with partners, babysitters, schedules. And yes, sometimes they buy tickets the week and day of the show and the show still sells out. Beyoncé is one of the few artists in history still dominating the mainstream conversation decades into her career. And because she doesn’t fit into their metrics, and they can’t relate to her music, it bothers them. She breaks their reality, so they assume there must be some behind-the-scenes manipulation. But what they fail to understand is this: Beyoncé doesn’t need to chase relevance. She defines it. And her success predating the streaming/social media era, insulates her from negative media and viral posts on social media.

📣 BY THE WAY MEGHAN (NEE) MARKLE IS NOT ASHAMED OF HER HER FIRST NAME ‘RACHEL’. Decided to address this long running weird theory that is not for the people that are not weird. 🙂 I’ve always found it fascinating that deranged royalists think that calling Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex by her first name ‘Rachel’ would upset her and that calling her by that name is like a slur, insult or jab to her. It’s not! Meghan is her middle name used by her parents from birth simply because they preferred it in the end to the first name they gave her. It’s that simple. As shown in the clip below 👇 where Meghan happily volunteers to Tv host Rachel Ray in May 2018 that ‘Rachel’ is actually her first name, she is not ashamed of it and if so she wouldn’t have mentioned this as a fun fact about her. 🙂 If not interrupted Meghan was about to explain that her parents called her Meghan. Hence they are responsible for this, not her. Indeed there is no trail that suggests Meghan was ever once widely known as Rachel and that it was her who radically decided to change the name everyone knew her by. She always been known as Meghan! Either way Rachel is equally a cool name too. It’s not a slur or a name people think is not nice. It is a clear example of parasocial behaviour when odd internet individuals come up with theories and project them onto Meghan like deciding she’s ashamed of Rachel and deciding that there’s some sinister reason for why she’s been called Meghan since forever. There isn’t. If you need help with this PSA I believe there is a helpline out there for you somewhere. 🙂 #MeghanSussex #MeghanMarkle
