Asked to reflect on navigating a “hellish” public breakup, Perrie acknowledges that she receives criticism for answering questions about it, “[but] I’m like, ‘But it really affected me massively’”: “People are gonna hate me talking about it… I can’t catch a break. If I talk about this, they’re like: ‘Why are you talking about it?!’ But anyway, shut up! Yeah, [it’s my life]. When you go through heartbreak, it is hellish. You can’t eat, you can’t sleep, you feel horrendous. You don’t feel good enough and you feel like you’ve been left for something better, or whatever it is… Then what makes it even worse is, I feel like the world was then looking at me, laughing at me. I felt embarrassed; I felt horrified. I had serious breakdowns. I did. Because it wasn’t just the heartbreak I was dealing with. I was dealing with everybody looking at me, and I felt ridiculed. I just couldn’t cope with it; I hated it. I was breaking down in performances, which isn’t like me at all. I was crying constantly. I think I was depressed… I know that sounds ridiculous! But I think it was this plus this plus this, and everything on top. It was like, I had to be there for the girls; I had to be switched on; I had to power through for Little Mix – but I also just wanted to be left the fuck alone. But I also was getting followed every two seconds and asked about it 24/7, and it was the headlines, it was everywhere, and it was a lot! I was riding my motorbike and I thought I saw a dead snake on the side of theroad. I generally don't pass up free stuff. Don't judge we're all human. Anyway, I stopped to collect my snake and it turned out to be a huge blue iridescent earthworm. It was not dead. It was the coolest thing ever and I was on the side of the road fondling it for like 20 minutes. The iridescence was phenomenal. The video camera colors are not as nice as the still camera but I assure you he was vivid.

This video was taken in 2016 at Maestro restaurant in Harare. It was my 3rd time performing stand up comedy, I don’t have footage from the first two times. As you can see, I didn’t know what I was doing. I just knew I LOVED it. 10 years later, I’m still in love with this thing and I’m grateful for everything it has given. Here’s to the next 10 years, thank you for being part of this journey with me. We’ve only just begun. Thank you 💜 [slow] for sending me this

Earlier today I was ironing some clients clothe with the gas iron when I had the sudden urge to use the toilet. I turned off the gas and went to the toilet. I went about with other things when I came out thinking the iron was off. Next thing I heard was Mummy your table is burning. I rushed down to find that the gas was still on and I had only increased the heat instead of turning it off. What amazed me was that the rubber iron mat that came with it didn't burn but everything beneath it melted. Does anyone know the kind of material they use in making the mat? Alhamdullilah, what if it happened during the week when my kids are not around? Why is it so hard to fix the power problem in this country so we don't have to resort to endangering our lives trying to solve problems that we shouldn't be having in 2026? In all, Alhamdullilah.

I was driving home a few days ago and randomly started thinking about Marc and wondering what he was up to. I hadn’t seen him in almost 10 years. He was one of the first pros I ever traveled with because we were both sponsored by Matix. When you’re young, you remember the pros who were genuinely nice to you. Marc was always the coolest. He would disappear for long stretches at a time, but every time I saw him again, it was a big hug. He genuinely wanted to know what I was up to and how life was going. Just landed in Washington D.C. Tomorrow we will celebrate Charlie receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Every single time I return to DC I am flooded with memories of Charlie from the Inauguration - it was one of the best weeks of my life. It was an honor to experience that with CK.

I was 11 years old when I got this PSP 3000 for Christmas back in 2008, and it absolutely blew my mind. FIFA, FlatOut, Iron Man, GTA, and many other games… so many hours, so many great memories. Back then I didn’t even have a modern phone, so the PSP was more than just a gaming handheld for me. I used it to browse the internet, watch movies, and I even remember how awkward it was trying to chat with friends on social media using it. 😄 18 years later, I still have it. It still works. And every time I hold it, it instantly takes me back to those carefree days. The PSP will always be one of the most nostalgic handhelds ever made. ❤️

I got the notification and froze. It didn’t register what I was clicking on. And then the second I did a head count up to 7, I burst into tears. And then I did not stop crying until about an hour ago. What surprised me was that I didn’t realise that I was still holding my breath. I didn’t know. I thought I felt that release when I saw them all on June 13th and then again on June 21st when yoongi posted on weverse. I was wrong. Because apparently, I was still only half relieved. Only half breathing. There was a part of me that was still aching, still incomplete. It’s occurring to me right now that I’ve just been brushing it off, the feeling that there was still a weight on my chest. All it took was to see 7 together on that live and the wind got knocked right out of my lungs. And everything broke. I broke. That heaviness on my chest vanished. You might call it an overreaction. Maybe it is. I don’t know. But hearing them all together, their laughter, seeing their faces, seeing yoongi— my heart genuinely felt like it was broken and put back together. It’s crazy how much I love them. How much they mean to me. Can’t believe this is it. We made it. This is what it was all for. Everything that happened, everything we fought for, everything we endured. Everytime we pushed back, everytime we stood our ground, all of it. It was for this. It was for them. So that they could come back with full confidence that their army was right where they left us. Here. Waiting. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Welcome back, 방탄소년단. Welcome home.
