The first time I saw this was when they had just completed the final mix with the Director in the Joseph Smith Memorial Bldg. I sobbed uncontrollably and couldn’t talk for 15 minutes… so powerful.

I completely relate with that feeling. Very powerful and almost sacred scene.

Seeing it for the first time as a missionary sitting next to investigators and I’m crying like a baby

The second time I saw this in the theater was worse than the first. I knew what was coming, so the waterworks started a good ten minutes before. 🥹

Every time

Why’d you gotta show this one? 😭

@ReactvdrFntsma Without fail

This one gets me too!

@Dec_16_1773 Even the lights off for like a minute didn’t help me pull it together in the JSM building.

Just thinking about this movie last night

Every time. No exception

Not me. Too distracted by the 4,125 other roles I’ve seen that guy play in other lds media. Seriously is he the only member who can act? (Besides you)

What about Mr Kruger's Christmas? Or the scene of the girl using her shawl to tie her fiance's dead body in the tree in 17 miracles? Or Brigham Young realizing he wouldn't live to see the completion of the SLC temple in Mountain of the Lord? There are so many good ones.

I can’t tell you how many times I watch this on my mission.

Imagine what it will really be like.

I'm not crying, I just have allergies....

With ya on that one.

Yup!!

We need another scene like this in a large budget movie about the coming of Christ to the Americas.

🥹🥹🥹😇😂

One of the most powerful scenes in media for me. Makes me tear up every time.

Yep

Ok that's a good one

Right in the feels!

Good movie. But the scrawny super white actor playing Jesus didn’t fit well.

Happen to me first time I saw it, at the MTC. Long time ago

Helum…… 😭

Don’t know what you’re taklimg about. This is eye sweat.

Oh, me tooooooooooo.

We haven’t watched this in a long time. It’s getting seen on Sunday.

As a nearly blind guy, this one has always gotten me. And now I’m tearing up. And it’s your fault.

Like a baby

Me too. I was very sad to learn that the young actor there has now left the Church and, at least for a while, actively spoke against it.

Yep

Wow, not me. The Nephite portion seemed like such a shoddy invention, it bore none of the weight of real good & evil like the Book of Mormon itself does. That being said, love whatever you love. You have enough people agreeing that one naysayer shouldnt detract from your pleasure
