Every time Willy Taveras was on the base paths, he was going to do something special. I love in game 4 of the 2005 NLCS where he tested Jim Edmonds and was safe by a mile. Willy T Gullo Ford forever.

Lmao is that Molina looking back at home plate like "where dafuq is this guy?"

I remember his base hit bunts. First player I seen with so many base hit bunts

Willy was always cool with us Park Patrol crew (before the Shooting Stars).

I’ll never forgive Willy T for throwing out Biggio at second base on June 28th 2007.

Dude was insanely fast getting out of the box for a right handed hitter. and on defense, could cover ground like Marisnick and had a CANNON arm (he could’ve played RF as well IMO).

I remember Willy T scoring from 2nd on a Berkman sac fly.

Willy was the fastest player that year.

Thought no one remembered his Gullo Ford commercials lol thank you

Molina looked back and already Willy T was by the dugout.

30 game hit streak was impressive too

And then Houston got swept lol

I never wanna be reminded of that 2005 Game 4 WS game (I know this vid is the NLCS). Forever F*ck the White Sox and AJ P!!!

He also tagged home once… from 2nd base.

He was Willy Fast.

First ever favorite player bc I played the same position, lead off, and I used to bunt a lot to leadoff the game

Those uniforms were the absolute worst. Zero personality and perfect for the most bland team in @astros history. All I can think of when I see those is Biggio's catchphrase excuse of "That's baseball" every time they choked away another season. Losers lose.
