Vivek Krishnan claims the new SSS Defence T-72 (chambered for 7.62x51 NATO) has the lowest recoil in its caliber among “anything” available in India today. Checked it with my “shoots” with the ADG PI - INDIAN ARMY ‘s in service SiG 716 (Direct Impingement/ DI = mule-kick) and the DRDO / ARDE dvipa Defence India Pvt Ltd made Ugram battle rifle. (Ugram = long stroke piston, less recoil) But look at the difference in recoil the T-72 brings in with its short stroke piston + a terrific muzzle brake (which should be mandatory in all battle rifles). I am 6’2”. SSS Defence shooter RC Thapa sab is around 5’10”. Of course he’s a professional - and has a technique of rocking back in sync with the recoil) Great job done as always Vivek Krishnan can’t wait to see this baby up close 🫡
