These are must haves in the South. The power goes out and ya live in the middle of nowhere, you are the last to get your power back on. I can have my lights, freezers back up, my refrigerators back up, stove, microwave, TV in 2 rooms, Internet, and portable heaters or portable A/C's, depending on the season back up and running in 30 minutes flat.

This is hilarious & true, but word to the wise. Do not show up in a big group at a redneck's house during an emergency unless you're friends. Or you have little ones. Rednecks are prepared for EVERYTHING and we ain't losin' all that crap to a mob.

And if we ain't go no generator.. We'll go down to the crick and set up a car battery, a alternator and a paddle wheel we made from an old paint roller and wood scraps and have power by supper time.

Check to everything except don't come to my house if I don't know you. We got plenty of pew pews too.

Most of us are preppers. My friend has a salt water pool and her own desalinization unit to use it as a drinking water source. I’m not as prepped as her, but I keep working towards it.

I don’t know how you know, spot on. Last time the power went out it was for three weeks. We only have three generators, 2 refrigerators, 2 freezers and yes full of deer meat, grass fed beef from the neighbor, goat, raccoon and rabbit. We even had internet when we plugged it into a battery pack.

Did you know that both Russia and China were asked why they would never put boots on the ground in the US. And the answer was the same from both of them. To many rednecks with a grandfather's arsenal in their homes. And the knowledge to build anything from scraps.

I have 4 generators and im only half redneck lol white folks in America are prepared for the most part. I can build and make/grow anything ill ever need!

This is true! My redneck family has 6 generators, 3 deep freezers, 4 refrigerators,and plenty of tools to fix anything that breaks down lol!

Turkey fryer with a campfire coffee kettle is key to start the day. Then rest of long term outage prep happens. Always at least one extra propane bottle to keep that coffee coming.
