Now I know that if I am having to wait longer in the emergency room, it might be because the doctors have to listen to a social justice diatribe.

HIPPA requires that information shared with a patient is not compromised by others in the room. Asking if friend or relative gives him the green or red light to speak further. Asking medical questions to determine treatment like diabetes is mandatory. The guy sacrifices his life for others and this is the thanks he gets.

Omg. Soooo tired of this.

<<GROAN>>

Welp, not beating any stereotypes with this.

That man did not go to medical school to be treated like a fast food cashier. She has the audacity to chastise him for asking routine questions as if she's being insulted. People have become too arrogant and forgotten their place.

They're exhausting everywhere they go

Literally none of the things they said was racist. I get asked the same questions all the fucking time. If you’re going into the ER with somebody , they always assume it’s a family member.. it ain’t racist? 😂

She spent 2 minutes waffling and tone policing the guy over nothing. A man who clearly had alot on his plate and many more patients to deal with. He handled it better than i would have. Is she soo self-centered that she didn't realize why he was mad? He's not her therapist, and she's not his boss, she had zero reasons to sit there lecturing him. Also, who the hell brings a friend to a doctors appointment? unless she's literally getting an abortion i suppose, its no surprised he assumed she was with her sister, as why the hell else would anyone her own age be sitting there?

“I’m sorry you feel that way, the nurse will see you out. Have a nice day.”

Exhausted hearing how offended the offensive people are. There should be a code he can enter to get paid extra for the bullshit. Asking if she has a history of diabetes makes her feel uncomfortable. Between this kind of motor mouth and the drug addicted manipulators, working in the medical field bleeds your soul dry. She’s gonna love government run healthcare😂😂😂

Now you know why it takes 18 hours to be seen for your broken arm and dislodged eyeball.

The way he handled it was perfect. He didn’t even know it was recorded. I hope he sees all these comments. To all the doctors working 1000 mph 12 hours/day, we see it and we appreciate you.

She obviously isn’t familiar with the havoc diabetes causes in patients vs non-diabetic ones. Fatigue level reaching defcon 1 for that poor doctor.

This will explain it.

He’s an ER doctor, not a psychologist. He’s not there to hear about your feelings.

So black people call each other sister. True. Diabetes in Black people is an epidemic. True. You went to Planned Parenthood?

You can hear the fatigue in his voice.

"Here are the imaginary micoaggressions that I perceived from you" Yeah I would have walked out immediately.

Stupid bitch. Type of patient that you fire immediately. There will always be issues. Your every word will be twisted. Every decision questioned. And she once you treat her she will blame anything that happens to her after that on you. "Ma'am, I am sorry, but I don't think this is going to be a good fit. Here is a number of one of my colleagues (your worst enemy)"

Imagine if we did have free, universal healthcare. These are the people who would be clogging up the system, just like the NHS, and creating a months-long backlog. No respect for anyone else’s time of efforts because everything is about them, the main character.

She’s giving the doctor a Yelp review. Who would want to listen to that? What arrogance.

A good example of how Govt-run healthcare would be a disaster. Leftists in charge would prioritize “feelings” over the need to ask relevant questions re, say, diabetes. So what the doc prescribes a med that negatively impacts blood sugar. At least the patient didn’t feel fat.

This is how we have gotten to a place where doctors are afraid to tell you to lose weight and I have to answer on every form if I was female at birth. Poor guy didnt want to listen to your list of grievances. I personally want an efficient doctor. If he sees a fat person he should assume a blood sugar issue whether they are white or black or any other color. If you are fat and dont have a blood sugar problem, dont wait, lose weight because you almost certainly will get blood sugar issues if you live long enough. Everything flows downstream of blood sugar issues. Healing rates, eye problems, memory issues. It is his job to know who is higher risk. Good grief people wanting to turn a doctor appointment and worse and emergency room visit into victim content for the internet.

Speaking firsthand here. That man needs to snap mentally. Stop entertaining them. Speak over and down to these ones....prescribe and document and say goodbye. He's close and did decent. But he needs to be me. It came for help and you gave it. Transaction over.

We do not make enough money in healthcare to deal with this shit 24/7. We are physically abused, cussed at, spit at, have things thrown at us, berated - and all we are trying to do is help people. This new generation being offended by everything is making it even worse.

This chick is a doof… He asked simple pointed questions to ensure HIPAA wasn’t violated and so that he could point her in the proper direction… She turned it into some bullshit race thing… No hun, it’s not because you’re Black, it’s because he’s a PROFESSIONAL 🤓 Goofy

The doctor handled that very well!! She was trying to CREATE DRAMA.

Yea I’ve seen my share of patients act just like that. She must be obese and immediately is paranoid when he mentions diabetes a totally routine question for everyone. She wants people to gravel and apologize they aren’t going to because you’re paranoid NOPE

Woah, TND you say?

American women seem to think that no matter how shitty the thing is they are talking about, merely saying it quietly and calmly obviates them from any kind of blame.

I'm fit and white and doctors routinely ask if I have diabetes when I visit.

just don't engage. don't explain yourself. listen.nod your head. walk away.

Normal treatment feels like abuse to the overly privileged.
