Tinkered with it quite a bit. But right now, it takes far more time, money, and tokens than simply editing the video yourself. I’m interested to see where it is a year from now.

There isn’t much to figure out, Brian. We already know AI can edit video. The point is that it currently takes longer and costs more than paying an editor, so the economics don’t make sense yet.

This is starting to feel like shill. I've been vibe editing my tiktoks for months with /video-use from @browser_use and adding animations and captions with @HyperFrames_ . What's the difference here?

@browser_use @HyperFrames_ 1st part Astra? The two skills I mentioned can be used with Astra or Fable. Davinci is multiple steps and $295 bucks vs free? Seems like way more steps and cost 🧐 want me to show you my setup?

have you tried with Premiere? Had hard time going into the panels to clean up the sound and Lumetri

Okay, so it's not viable in a 20 USD plan at the moment, which leaves out most of the 3rd world population. Still very cool to see that it is now possible. It means that cheaper models will be able to do it in the future.

So many nerdy questions... Did you give it examples or tell it to study the channel or something? Does it work better in Resolve compared to Premiere? (I know I can try it myself and find out... just curious if you've tried.

This is awesome! I used it to edit my latest video with Astra with very basic knowledge and it worked like magic color graded fixed lighting overall helped a lot.i used davinci resolve

Do you have any detailed info on how to set this up? I edit in premiere doing over 1 billions views in 2025 and would love to give it a shot!

I got Astra to edit 7 5/6 hour recordings and the results were somewhat surprising but I asked for story beats and the edits or cuts were very poor a lot of context was left out and a lot of the cuts made no sense ie cutting conversations off. There is a way to go but it’s close.

I had been testing out Grok (don't judge me ffs) using my homemade Grok Computer Use (made mainly with GPT) for trying to video edit with Final Cut prior, it was sorta getting somewhere but really coulda just been done via FFMPEG tbh but I gotta try DR with Astra for sure very soon.
